Laura Carson Dance is proud to announce Vanessa Garcia’s invitation to attend the CRU Dance National Finals 2018 in Ohio! This is quite an honor for Vanessa, who stood out in the judges' eyes as a vibrant dancer. Vanessa’s invitation reflects the high standard that all of her dance team members exhibited at the competition this last weekend. Four dance companies were invited to send members or teams to Nationals from the Tucson/Vail area. Laura Carson Dance was one of them! Their performance and their placement overall has put them at the top of the local teams, and they all feel very proud and honored for what they collectively achieved at the Cathy Roe Ultimate Dance competition. WE DID IT! Laura Carson Dance Company completed its first dance competition at Cathy Roe Ultimate Dance in Mesa, AZ on February 24th 2018. The dancers had a blast and great experience at the competition. Company Choreographer, Laura Carson, immediately saw the potential in her dancers and decided to form an official dance team in September 2017. Since then, the dancers have worked tirelessly towards this ambitious goal. But success isn’t limited to the dancers. Laura Carson and the dancers would like to thank ALL DanceParents, family members, and friends who gave donations and came to the competition to support and cheer for the dance team! Laura Carson said "I could have not done this competition by myself. The LOVE and SUPPORT that I get from my family, friends, dance parents and grand dance parents, kept up my discipline, motivation, and creativity. Thank you so much. I love you, all!" Laura Carson Dance Company took 4th place overall in the Junior Division Novice Level. Congratulations, Laura Carson Dance Company! Well done! We have few Dance shows coming up and we are busy preparing! We can’t wait to perform! |
